What to do with Hazardous and Bulky Waste

Please review our terms of service carefully to ensure your items meet our guidelines for safe and efficient disposal with our landfill service. For items requiring special handling or restricted from hauling, we’ve outlined specifics below to assist you in preparing your load.

For safety and compliance, certain items are prohibited or require special preparation before collection. Here’s a breakdown of what we can and cannot take, along with guidelines for acceptable items:

Prohibited Items:

  • Hazardous Materials: Paint in liquid form (only dried paint can be accepted), Propane Tanks, Waste Oil, Unregulated Hazardous Waste

  • Household Appliances: Appliances containing refrigerants or hazardous components require specialized disposal and are prohibited from our service.

  • Tires: Waste tires, in any form, require separate disposal methods due to handling restrictions.

Acceptable in Landfill Service with Restrictions:

  • Furniture: Large furniture items are acceptable, provided they fit loosely in the dumpster and the lid can close fully.

  • Concrete: Small quantities can be taken, provided they do not overfill or weigh down the container.

  • Lawnmowers and Small Engines: These are acceptable if all fuel and oil are fully drained.
